One of the most recognisable landmarks in Shropshire, The Column is the tallest Doric column in England. Friends of Lord Hill’s Column was set up to help preserve this iconic monument by raising funds for its restoration, and to galvanise public interest to support grant applications.
Working with the Friends, we designed and developed a new WordPress website to help improve the visibility and reach of the ongoing campaign.
The website offers interesting background about Lord Hill and his column, and a gallery and news section can be easily updated by the members of the campaign.
