In building, servicing, maintaining and hosting client websites, We are a ‘Data Processor’ acting on the client’s (Data Controller) wishes.
Website & Information Security

The security and maintenance of a client’s own website, and the data contained within that website, is the responsibility of the client. This includes, but is not limited to; security of users and passwords, website software updates and compliance with Data Protection Regulations.
In Our role as Data Processor, we can help clients with their security responsibilities, through:
- Consulting: advising on website changes.
- Implementing SSL certificates to ensure client website traffic is encrypted.
- Maintenance plans: undertaking regular software updates on behalf of clients.
- Monitoring: as part of a maintenance plan, we can implement firewall protection and 24/7 scanning of a client website to:
- Reduce the chances of their website being compromised by unauthorised users/scripts.
- To alert clients to such a compromise as soon as possible
- To rectify a website compromise on behalf of a client
